2010 Hunting Season Review

The 2010  hunting seasong will be one to remember!

The spring bear season started out tough with the weather not cooperating, but even with the rain and snow almost every day we still took some beautiful bears. We have become known as the bear hunters of Wyoming, refer to the October 2010 addition of Rocky Mountain Game and Fish article Bears in the West, Hot Spots & Tips under the Wyoming section for a write up of our outfit and bear hunting.

The fall season beagn with a very successful sheep hunt. If you have sheep points we hunt areas 6 and 7,  the draw odds are getting better every year.

We had 2 Mountain Goat Hunters in 2010 and killed 2 great billies. It says a lot about hunter's confidence in our outfit considering there are only  2 nonresident tags available and we were chosen for both and filled both hunters. See the article, Out on the ledge, in the January addition of Huntin Fool Magazine about one of those hunts.

This fall we took a couple of really nice muley bucks. High country Mule Deer hunts are a specials hunt and we are seeing a steady increase in trophy qulity. We offer Deer/Elk hunt combinations which the hearty hunters love.

Like always we took a bunch of really nice buck antelope in 2010.

Our elk hunters had a great year taking some nice 5 and 6 point bulls. We did a bunch of elk combination hunts combining them with our fall bear hunts and deer hunts. The hunters who participated in these hunts enjoyed every minute.

Bear hunting in the fall has become one of our favorite fall hunts. This fall our hunters were seeing  2 to 6 bears a day and we took some dandy's. Hunters for 2011 should not overlook the fall bear hunting season, whether spring or fall we have the bears.

Once again we are the leader in Wyoming providing trophy moose. Three Boone & Crockett bulls fell to our hunters this fall. This is achieved by our excellent Fool Magazine to see these three record moose.

Our horses and mules continue to surpass all others. Our hunters are continually complimenting us on our livestock. Our horses start  in early May with spring bear hunts and then take our pack trips, fishing trips and trail rides throughout the summer. Once hunting season arrives they are in excellent shape and ready for even the inexperienced rider. The livestock are our "main man" in our business and we are proud of them.

I would personally like to thanks guides Jason Wright, Jordan Martolio and Brad Merritt, you guys are the best of the best and are something to be proud of.
