In 2005 Jason was selected as the Jackson Hole Outfitters and Guides Associations "Guide of the Year"
Jason came to Wyoming each summer
to pursue a career in the outdoor industry
when he was sixteen years old. He received
his college degree in teaching in 1990 and
then returned to Wyoming to start his career
as a professional guide.
As a professional guide Jason
uses his talents year round. When the green
is just sprouting up, he is spring bear hunting
with clients hunting for that color phase
bear. In the summer, you will find him guiding
fishing and scenic float trips on the Snake
River and the Grand Teton National Park. In
1992 Jason was chosen by the Secret Service
to guide President Ronald Reagan and his family
on a scenic float trip in Grand Teton National
Park. The winter months he is in Yellowstone
guiding snowmobile tours. When the snow starts
flying in the fall he is working for Barlow
Outfitting. Jason has spent the last twenty
years exploring the Teton, Gros Ventre, and
the Jedidiah Smith wilderness. He has a way
of sniffing out those Big Bulls and calling
them right into your lap. Jason has won many
awards with WYOGA for the top guided moose
in the state of Wyoming. He is getting quite
famous around the western part of Wyoming
as a great professional guide.
Jason enjoys his work and being
outdoors but also enjoys time with his family
and friends. His sense of humor is FIRST CLASS!
Jason is just a great person to be with and
is always very professional.
Lorenzo Tadeo Leon
Lorenzo is from Sonora Mexico.
He grew up guiding in Sonora for Desert Bighorn
Sheep, Mule Deer, Couse Deer and Gould's Turkeys.
He is a family man with wife Norma and Karil
his daughter.
Lorenzo is my number one scout
"Vaquero". He is known for his EAGLE
EYES! He scouts the Western Wyoming Mountains
in late summer and fall looking for Trophy
Bull Elk, Shiras Bull Moose, and High Country
Mule Deer Bucks in our units. He is a Pro
when it comes to skinning and caping your
Big Game Trophy animal.
We are thankful to have Lorenzo
with us, as he is a joy to be with and a great
asset to Barlow Outfitting.

Colter W. Hansen
(Tracker)
Colter is a 4th generation Wyoming
Native. He was named after the famous Mountain
Man John Colter from the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
He lives up to his name as he is known for
his great tracking ability. Do not let his
size or age fool you. He has ridden horses
since he was 8 months old and was on his first
Antelope hunt at the age of 2. The name "Tracker"
came from when he tracked down his Papa's
Shiras Bull Moose. He has tracked many Black
Bear and has been on many Big Game Hunts.
Colter is a wonderful boy and
greatly loved by all.
