We hunt elk in western Wyoming in the Jedidiah Smith wilderness and south of Jackson Hole in the Snake River, Hoback and Gros Ventre Mountain ranges. This area is famous for its excellent year round resident elk population and fabulous hunting. Therefore, these hunts are not dependent on foul weather to move elk into our area. Resident elk are hunted very close to our base operations near Alpine and Bondurant, Wyoming and Tetonia, Idaho. Elk season begins in late September during the peak of the rut and runs through late October. All of the Elk units we offer have good hunting throughout the season.
We hunt remote country all day and are still able to return to our comfortable lodging each night.
Wyoming´s elk population is very high and hunting is at its best.
We feel mobility to move to various areas and drainages is the key to your success when hunting elk. We will cover a lot of country during your hunt since our hunt area is huge.
